Our trattoria is one of the historical places of Cecina, located a few kilometers from the sea and immersed in the Tuscan countryside. Located on Strada Statale 68, the old Via Emilia, the restaurant has a large air-conditioned glass room also suitable for banquets and ceremonies and an outdoor room mainly used during the summer. The restaurant has 140 seats in summer and 120 in winter. The cuisine is typical Tuscan and has long been appreciated by both local customers and those who for the first time savor its quality. Our restaurant offers Mediterranean dishes based on meat and fish cooked on the grill, but also an excellent pizza flattened by hand and cooked in a wood oven. You can also enjoy grilled “Florentine” with vegetables or beans in flask. The desserts prepared with care and love are also excellent. The service is simple but careful to satisfy its customers.
The restaurant opened for the first time in 1950 as an emporium, transformed in the following years into a bar, tobacconist, pizzeria and restaurant. The catering service was born thanks to the passion of the founder Fontanelli Florindo, born in 1892, who had served as a cook in the officers’ mess during the Great War.
