The idea of ARTEDOLCE is the daughter of the “MARCO POLO” restaurant inaugurated in Cecina in 1985, a tea room that offered more than 50 types of tea, a wide choice of mixed drinks, a rich list of pure Scottish malt whiskey, one of vodka, one of dessert wines and bubbles.
In the restaurant there is no coffee and draft beer, only a small choice of Trappist beers. The dessert menu included about twenty proposals, updated once a month, all of them carefully prepared homemade desserts.
From this self-taught experience of greedy foods, ARTEDOLCE was born after a few years with the intention of proposing a choice of original and high quality fine meals with the constant simplicity.
Subsequently ARTEDOLCE expands the production with the “PAPILLA” brand exclusively dedicated to the production of high quality ice cream made by elaborating the recipes independently, excluding the ingredients not necessary for the production, proposed in two lines: Traditional Gelato and Vegan Gelato.
It is from this self-taught experience of greedy foods that Artedolce was born, the intent is to propose a choice of original and high quality fine meals with the constant simplicity.
